Do I need previous Betting shop experience?
Whilst an interest in sports and betting is an advantage, full training will be given, and it is more important to us that you have the right attitude, being enthusiastic and positive.
What is the training structure at Betfred?
Betfred prides itself on its training structure and no previous experience is necessary. You will have the full support of your shop team throughout your entire training programme.
What experience do I need?
Although cash handling, customer service or store management training may be beneficial, we do offer a full structured training package with additional elements of support.
Can I be moved to another Betfred shop to work?
All staff members have a shop they are based in. On occasion we may move staff either on a temporary or permanent basis to meet the needs of the business. Any shop move will be within a reasonable distance and will take into consideration travel times from your home address.
Are there progression opportunities at Betfred?
Betfred primarily promotes from within and advertise most vacancies internally. Usually anyone with 6 months experience in their current role can apply for vacancies that are advertised internally to them.
How flexible are your hours?
Shift patterns vary and are managed by your shop manager, this will include mornings, evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
What are the shift patterns?
Very flexible, our shops are open 7 days a week, 364 days a year, with different shift patterns so can provide hours to suit most people.
When will I know if my application has been successful?

Will I be provided with a uniform?
We have a relaxed attitude to dress code, currently staff must wear a Betfred branded polo shirt (supplied) that they wear with smart trousers, jeans or skirts and suitable footwear.
